An alarming number of firefighters across the country are being charged, injured or even killed while performing duties which were intended to protect the public. This fast paced seminar will explore Fire Service Leaders’ roles in protecting our firefighters and EMT’s. Fire Service leaders also have an obligation to the firefighters to provide a safe working environment and to the public to protect the interests of the tax payers and to limit liability that may be imposed on the district or department. The no holds barred seminar will review the leading causes of injury, death and liability issues facing fire service organizations and provide sample policies and procedures to help limit these exposures.
